Zurich

While some of my colleagues start working with Zurich, and might travel there at some point, I stop in this city for 2 days, in order to visit it, and to enjoy its Christmas markets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Let me introduce you to one of the nicest streets I've ever seen (can't actually think of a nicer one, among all my trips), Augustiner-Gasse.

 

 

Davos

Second step of my season's cheerings, this time for cross country skiing, in Davos, Switzerland.
On the first day, it is a continuous snow storm, but it will get a lot better from Saturday afternoon, for the last 3 races.

After the hostel which had closed in Novi Sad, the rental car which wasn't there for me in Budva, and the booking for Stewart Island which was not in the listing, more accommodation problems here: the lodger didn't expect me on that day.
"You were supposed to arrive on the 8th.
- Yes, and today is the 8th.
- Oooops."

Yes, as you say it, oops... Fortunately, apart from the fact that I had to wait while she was cleaning the appartment, and that I helped her in order to speed up the process, everything was solved.

Again, a great weekend for the French team, with good results for most of them (special mention for Richard Jouve who reached the final of the sprint competition), and a victory for Maurice Manificat. Time to open a bottle of champagne!

Back to Sweden for the opening of the biathlon World Cup season, with a cold weather and lots of snow, exacty as I like it :))))

 

 

Once more it is a great success for the French team, with 7 medals in 6 races, between Martin Fourcade, Quentin Fillon-Maillet and Justine Braisaz.
