Bled and Pokljuka
Hello!
Welcome back to sLOVEnia, for the 4th time in 4 years.
You should get used to it, it won't be the last time...
Bled Lake is always as magic as the first time I discovered it.
Happy to have been able to share this with friends I hadn't seen for a few months.
And this year, the competition was once more quite successfully for the French team:

Azores - Faial
One more island, even smaller than the previous ones: Faial, with its famous Peter Café Sport, celebrating this year their 100th anniversary.
Right in front of Faial, just a few kilometers away, the island of Pico, with a 2341 meter high volcano, almost always hidden behind clouds.
You can travel from one island to another, but because most of them are quite distant from each other, I decided to use the plane instead of the boat for most of the transfers. But here, it is only a 5 kilometer trip from Faial to Pico, a nice 30 minute journey with beautiful views on both islands.
Pico is referred to as the Ilha Preta ("Black Island"), for its black volcanic earth, responsible for its UNESCO-designated historical vineyards that allowed the development of the island.
The Wine Museum is a great place, with dragon trees providing a very enjoyable shade.
My little house in Faial is fully furnished, including a poney and a cow in the garden.
The next morning is spent on the ocean, looking for dolphins and sperm whales. It is the first time that I have the opportunity to get so close to a whale, this is an unforgettable experience.
That's the boat we used. Trust me, on a windy day with significant waves, it can get quite bumpy!
Last stop Peter Café Sport for a coffee, and a visit at their Scrimshaw Museum (sculptures on whales teeth and bones).
Time to fly home, and go back to the office, I am glad to have kept Faial and Pico for the last part of the trip, they will remain my best memories.
