Tasmania

21/01

The night was not too bad, I was not sea sick, and managed to sleep a reasonable number of hours.
Good news, because I cannot spend my day sleeping, there are too many things to be done in Cradle Mountain. Different walks allow to discover the different landscapes.
Starting with the circuit around Dove Lake. The clouds are gone, and the temperature starts increasing, again...

After 6 hours of walk, a short stop in Sheffield in order to have a look at their murals, world famous in Tasmania (as our Kiwi friends would say), and try and find Kimberley, where Laura, Ray and Liam live.

Way too easy, I had planned to spend hours looking for the town, then hours looking for their road, but discover it by chance very quickly.
So here are the famous shearers quarters in which I will have the pleasure to sleep during the next 2 nights!

After an evening catching up with Laura, and meeting the rest of the staff, Ray takes us to the beach for a breathtaking day, trotting and catering on km of sand, with noone else around. That was a 'wow' day!

As a reward (because we did good today, according to the boss), I drive Susan and Hazel to the Anvers chocolate factory, in order to try the "world's best hot chocolate", according to what they say. Not sure if it is the best one, but definitely good!

Time to say goodbye again, and head south, in order to spend the night in Hobart.
