Baton Rouge

We are now in Baton Rouge, the capital city of Louisiana.

Here is the new Capitol, built in 1928. 34 floors high, it is the highest Capitol of the country.

And this is the old Capitol, built in 1850.

On the Mississipi River, the USS Kidd has been converted into a Veterans Memorial and Museum.

There are also several casinos.
