Katmai

Katmai National Park and Preserve is an active volcanic landscape, but it also protects 9,000 years of human history as well as important habitat for salmon and thousands of brown bears that feed on them.

One hour and a half of flight takes you to the airport of King Salmon.

Then 20 or 30 minutes of floatplane takes you to Brooks Camp. Best time ever :))))

Sport fishing is also part of the activities in this park, if you feel like competing with bears for the salmons...

And eagles, of course. Plenty of them.

No, this is not a lost picture from my trip to Seychelles, it is an Alaskan lake...
