And then last hours before going back to Tokyo, and I will try to make the most of them, as today the sun is shining bright.
The first temple of the day is Chion-ji:
And then a nice walk among the trees, on the eastern hill of the city, passing in front of other temples and shrines:
The second visit of the day is for what will probably remain my favorite temple in Kyoto, the Kodaiji, with incredible gardens and, surprisingly, very very few tourists.
Farther up the hill, on my way to Kiyomizu-dera, with its view on the city:
Just enough time to grab a snack, and I am on my way to the Shinkansen
Here is the best view I got on Mount Fuji. Not the most amazing picture ever, but I couldn't leave Japan without putting a picture of Mount Fuji on my blog.
In Tokyo, I am going to spend the night in a capsule hotel. Incredibly comfortable, with everything provided (pyjamas, toothbrush, towel, slippers...), as the basic idea of such an accommodation is that, it you worked too late and can't get home because you missed the last train, you can stay there for a reasonable price.
And furthermore I feel safer than ever, with such neighbours ;-)
