Tokyo (3)

Up with the sun, the first objective of the day is the Tsukiji Fish Market. Before it opens to the public (at 10:00), short stop for a sushi breakfast.

And then an incredible experience, with a wide variety of seafood and fish, wherever you look.
I wish I could send you part of the smell through the blog ;-)

Crossing Ginza and Marunouchi districts on my way to the next stops

Then the Imperial Palace and its gardens (yes, more cherry trees, and it won't be the last ones, for sure...):

A little bit of high tech when you wander in the streets:

Short stop at the Central Station, in order to get my train pass for the next week:

And then I cheated for lunch, and got a croissant with tomates, basil and mozzarela. Not very exotic, but I wanted to check what the croissants tasted like here, and I can tell you: they are delicious :)))

I am in the middle of Akihabara district, the epicenter of the geek and Japanese pop culture:

Would you like a tofu donut to finish the day? No? Me neither...
