Guess what??? It is raining heavily again on the road from Fox Glacier to Queenstown.
But once more it stops before I get there. Let's call it luck!
The afternoon will be spent on a Lord of the Rings tour to Glenorchy, enjoying the incredible views on the lake Wakatipu, overlooked by the Remarkables mountains.
On the following day, the weather seems to be fine, I head to Milford Sound, its water falls and its dolphins and seals, crossing breathtaking sceneries, surrounded by part of the 48 000 000 sheep of the country. In this part of this island, it snowed only 2 days ago, and some of it can still be seen on the side of the road.
On the road, the keas entertain the tourists on the last car park before reaching the Tasman Sea.
Lazy seals, enjoying a sun bath...
