From Isle of Skye to Inverness

The game of the day will be the "one track road, with passing places", started as a 6 mile warm up yesterday evening.
Today, it will be dozens of miles on such roads, where you cannot cross a vehicle going in the opposite direction, except in the so-called "passing places".

Add to that the fact that every road in Scotland is going up and down the hill, that there a sheep having a nap on the road at each blind corner and a little bit of road maintenance works, as everywhere in the world in summer, and you get a challenging trip.
You have to deserve the Scottish scenery. But once you understand how it works, it becomes really pleasant.

In the middle of the afternoon, I reach the banks of Loch Ness. I expected a grey weather and a scaring music but, surprisingly, the sky is blue and the cattle wander around the lake without any fear of a monster.
The southern road is very quiet, running through forests and small villages, not a tourist around (except me :)

Tonight, after dropping the bag in the guest house, I head straight to Inverness, in order to visit the town before the sunset.
First proper meal since Saturday (sorry, no offense, I love fish & chips and Scotch pies, but no way they can compete with the salmon salad and roasted lamb I had tonight).

Guess what! I saw Nessie, one more challenge achieved, only one more to go before I leave Scotland. Seriously!
Here is the evidence:

(and, no, I didn't buy one, you can be proud of me, I resisted to the temptation, even if it was tough)
