Today is going to be a long day, with the most awful weather forecast ever.
Let's start with Saint Michael's Mount, the twin sister of our Normandy Mont Saint-Michel, lost in the mist, with buckets of rain and a strong wind.
As I need some comfort (it is noon, and I already completely soaked up, in spite of the raincoat, which proved to be completely useless because of the wind), so I indulge myself with a cream tea (tea served with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam).
Penzance, a lovely town just a few kilometers away from there, still under buckets of train...
And now I was supposed to go until Cape Cornwall, to enjoy the spectacular views, and discover this "heaven for photographers" according to what I have read. But the more I drive, the thicker the fog becomes, and when I get to Saint Just, just a couple of kilometers before the Cape, I can hardly see the front of my car when I drive.
It is not worth going on like that, I will turn around and head to Tintagel, when everyone at the hostel is as wet and cold as me.
