Golden circle

The first stop while visiting what the Icelandic call the Golden circle is Thingvellir, a rift valley that marks the crest of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the boundary between the North American tectonic plate and the Eurasian. The national parliament of Iceland started gathering at the bottom of the site cliffs in 930 AD, and sessions were held there until 1798.

As you can see, so far, not a drop of rain to be seen anywhere, I am enjoying 21 hours of sun a day!
