To be or not to be...

Welcome to the town where William Shakespeare was born. Lots of the historical buildings are related to him or to his family.

You can visit his birthplace, with the room where he was born:

 

Many nice buildings along the streets, most of them bearing the name of the famous poet, or of members of his family.

Here is the residence of his daughter Susanna, married to a physician:

The tavern below was founded in 1470. If only the walls could tell about what they saw, century after century...

And here is Anne Hathaway's cottage, where his wife was born and lived until they got married (in emergency because she was pregnant...)
