From Jersey to Guernsey

During the morning, one hour of walk to get back and forth to La Hougue Bie Museum. It
is a Neolithic ritual site which was in use around 3500 BC. In Western Europe, it is one of the largest and best preserved passage graves and the most impressive and best preserved monument of Armorican Passage Grave group. Although they are termed "passage graves", they were ceremonial sites, whose function was more similar to churches or cathedrals, where burials were incidental.
Atop the mound are two medieval chapels, one 12th Century and the other from the 16th Century.
During World War II it was used as a key lookout point, and an underground command bunker was built in the mound and adjacent.

Last hours in Jersey, wandering in the streets of Saint Helier (and eating my first fish & chips of the trip, for sure it won't be the only one).

As they say it at the departure gate of the ferry terminal: "A betôt, et à la préchaine!"
This is the last view you get when you leave Jersey:

And this is the first thing you see when you arrive in Guernsey, one hour later:
